Tabbed Windows Explorer in xp

Specs: Windows xp SP3, Intel / 1GB
Hello everybody!

Being still "loyal" to win xp after all these years, I recently wanted to have my windows explorer open folders in tabs instead of in different windows. There exist programs claiming to do so - but they support win 7.0 onwards (e.g. QTTabbar). I tried out Tab Explorer for xp, however was not very satisfied. WindowTabs seemed promising, but I could not find a downloadable version - the programmer has released the code making the program free, but one has to compile the code in order to get the executable! Anybody having a downloadable executable of WindowTabs or any other idea on how to get tabs in Explorer?

I had no problem finding it. It appears the free version has a 3 tab limit, if you need more than that, it'll cost $19. https://download.cnet.com/WindowTab...

I suggest you do some more searching. I found these just doing a quick search:
