System Restore Points Appearing Days Later

October 25, 2012 at 17:15:39
Specs: Windows XP
Really random thing. My computer had an issue, so I restarted in safe mode and opened system restore. There were only one or two dates in it so I restored to the closest date. I also ran scan disk. When my computer was running fine again I checked the system restore window and there were several more dates on the calendar with restore points that where not there when I restored in safe mode. As in like a weeks worth of dates that where not there. Anyone hear of something like this happening? Could this mean some kind of issue?

"Could this mean some kind of issue?"
Check your settings, I have mine set on minimum.

If you have more than 1 drive connected, you don't need it enabled on the 2nd drive.

I don't think I was clear. I don't have restore points disappearing, they are APPEARING days layer. For example, on October 20th I started in safe mode. I went to system restore, and there was a restore point for the 19th, and nothing else before that for the week. After Running system restore and scan disk, i went back to the system restore window after my computer was running normal, and there were restore points on the 18th, 17th, 16th, and 15th, where they were not before. What could this mean?

It could mean that they were embedded in the system restore that you did on Oct 20
