Specs: Linux i686
I installed windows xp operating system in my computer, after 1 month, my computer reboots till windows loading screen and again reboot itself.

For this issue, i tried safe mode and last know good configuration, checked all the ports, RAM, clean all the hardware parts, change the cables. Finally i installed XP again. But, again after 1 month my computer having the same problem.

I am not getting any error message on the screen, it just reboot from the windows loading screen again and again.

Please tell me whether the issue is with the HARDWARE or SOFTWARE.

If the issue is with the HARDWARE then which part of the hardware having the issue.

I don't think so the issue is with the XP OS CD, I checked with all different XP CD's.

I hope you will give the best answer for the above issue.

disable the automatic restart on system failure.
system properties> startup and recovery settings>settings

this wont solve the restarting problem but at least will give you information of whats causing the problem.

Its unusual that it is one month everytime. Could be some malware that you keep downloading everytime. You can try booting with the OS disk and selecting to repair the drive. That will get you into the system. From there download malwarebytes and some virus software like free avg and scan your system. I dont think its hardware related. Its gotta be software related.

I know I am reaching here but where did you get the operating system and the key? Did it come from a torrent? If so it may be an issue where the key is not being accepted as genuine by microsoft. I am not accusing anyone but the one month thing has me thinking. A friend did this a while back and kept asking me for help, it wasn't until he brought me the computer that I found out he was using a key generator from a torrent file and basically microsoft was on to this. Somewhere is the EULA it says something to the affect that if you do not legally activate your copy of windows in 30 days it will stop working. If this was an operating sytem that had been used in the past on another system it may be a similar issue.

I never said that you illegally installed a copy of windows or downloaded anything, I merly stated the only experience I have had with said problem. That being said you will have to reinstall windows. I recomend a total reformat. If this is a copy that you legally own but have used on an earlier machine you may have to contact microsoft by phone to get it to work with your new hardware.

I may be way off the mark here I am no expert by any means but it seems you are reaching the microsoft 30 day limit and your operating system is no longer working. If this has happened after 3 days or 6 weeks or 7 months instead of the 30 days then I would guess software issue or maybe a virus.

"Finally i installed XP again. But, again after 1 month my computer having the same problem." This tells me this has now happened at least twice with the same time period each time. Again I am no expert but I have not heard of any time released virus.

If you are using a key generator or some sort of crack regardless of weather or not you downloaded it then chuck it and pay for a legal key! All will be fixed then.
