Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, 2.793 GHz / 3070 MB
Everytime I start my PC a folder now opens C:\Program Files\Dell\SystemProfiler\WMIInput.xml ? Now the only thing I changed is installing the NWLinkIPX/SPX/NetBIOS Compatable Transport Protacall / After that my PC starting changing the way it booted up ,asking me to log on or off ? I had my computer set up to bypass that and go directly to loading Windows, using TweakUI for XP I was able to have go directly to windows again. Also (just a irratation) the picture on top of my start menu is no longer there ,I tried reloading the picture however it refuses to shop it ? When I tried to set it back to going directly to Windows again I recieved a prompt saying to use that feature I had to uninstall Client Services for Netware ,what are the repurcussions of doing that ! I can live with out the picture on top of start menu however I would like to know how to stop the folder from loading when Windows starts. Once again I messed around with my PC settings and now I have these problems when will I learn "if it aint broke dont fix it"
Any Help Greatly Appreciated
Thanks Nick

"the only thing I changed is installing the NWLinkIPX/SPX/NetBIOS Compatable Transport Protacall / After that my PC starting changing the way it booted up"

Of course it will. Why did you install NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS Compatible Transport Protocol in the 1st place? Do you really need it or are you just mucking around, as usual?

"when will I learn "if it aint broke dont fix it" "

Based on your history, the answer to that question is NEVER!

OK ,I deserve it besides the fact I agree with you . Now can you offer me a fix as I stated it wont let me just uninstall the NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS Compatible Transport Protocol, I have to uninstall Client Services for Network and Iam not sure how nessasary that service is ?
Thanks Again ,Nick
