Specs: Windows XP
Hello.

I was wondering if anybody could solve my font troubles. The letters my friend used on his thread are all strange texts within blocks. For some reason, they work on my friend's laptop, but I cannot see them on my desktop computer that's a Windows XP. My friend has Windows Vista. I was wondering if there was some font missing that I had to install? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Example of the strange characters:
FEELING THE MONSTER ;;
climb deeper inside of me. feeling him gnawing my heart away hungrily.

On the first line I see normal capital letters followed by two semi-colins and the second line is all lower case letters.
If you see something else, you browser is choosing what it believes is the closest font to what it sees since your computer does not have that font on it (I'm now running windows 7). When I had XP, I had loaded about 200 extra fonts to match fonts i chose to use at work for some graphic layout work. If you can find out the name of the font, you should be able to Google it and get a copy to download. Windows XP has a font manager you need to use to load the extra font(s).

Thanks! I actually got the name of the font and downloaded it. It turned out to be SimSun. Now I can see the words properly.

Is there anyway one can find out what fonts are being used that I can't see?

I pasted the characters in on WordPad and the name of the font popped up. I'm not sure if that works all the time or not.
