Starting XP from hibernate, it will go back into hibernate.

Specs: Windows XP, pentium 2.2ghz
This is an odd problem. My computer, with WinXP on it, has started this strange thing, when I hibernate the computer, I will later turn it back on and windows will reload like it is suppose to, but a couple weeks ago that changed, now when it comes, if I don't use the computer right away, it returns to a hibernate state and turns off in just a few minutes, so I need to restart it again, however if I use the computer right away after rebooting from a hibernate state the computer will stay on.
Is there something I did that changed this and if anyone knows, is there a way to turn that off so the computer will not go back into hibernation if I don't use the computer right away.

I would disable Hibernate, reboot the computer and re-enable it. You may also want to check your power options to see how long the computer is set to idle before hibernation.

One of two things. Settings for power have changed or some data has changed.

Check power settings.

Do a restore point to a time when it worked, if fails then you may have to do a clean install. Watch out for any program changes that may affect it later. I had this issue a long time ago. Some update would bork it.

Consider a complete shutdown also. Put all the wall warts and such on power strip and turn it all off.

Text, talk, drive...CRASH.

Hang up and drive @#$%^^
