Specs: Windows XP
Hi. It started with unmountable boot volume trouble with the blue screen. I tried booting from the xp cd, then repair...but wont work.At prompt using chkdsk, the hard disk was not recognize, only the cd drive. If I try to install xp again, the list of drive location (hard disks) are not there. Then I was redirected to another STOP blue screen. This time, theres no trouble name except for some advise and to use chkdsk/f. Also if my hard drive is corrupted with virus whatsoever..How can I use that when my harddisk is not recognized.Im damned..Any help pls. Thanks

... enter your bios, does the harddrive show up in there?

... check the drive is it spinning? (powered)

... unhook the drive cables and reconnect.
