sound driver missing after XP SP3 install

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, 3.066 GHz / 502 MB
respected sir/madam
i have problem of sound driver missing after i intalled window xp service pack 3. and i found that no audio can be played in my pc. i downloaded realtek high definition audio but i doesn't work..what to do please help me i really getting so exhausted. please reply me with solution..

If you have a well-known make of PC (eg. Packard Bell, Compaq etc,.) you should only download drivers from that manufacturer's website because their drivers are custom-made to match the hardware which is also often custom-made for them.

For that reason, the standard drivers from Intel and other device manufacturers will often not work. Only the PC manufacturer has the correct drivers.
