Rather than taking this action wouldn't it be better to report it, with any proof, to the appropriate authorities?
Disable the accounts. Change passwords. Get a good security suite enabled. Disable all remote access. Sweep for any vnc or other apps to remote in. Turn off system when not in use. Never use the admin login, make a limited or standard user and only use that. Be sure your password is very long.

smith021 -- If someone, and that's a big IF, is/was able to hack into other people's systems: • that hacker would not be leaving behind a Hotmail address • that hacker would not be installing Win7 against people's wishes • that hacker would select 'victims' a lot more judiciously • you would not be one of them
