"CTRL+C copies and CTRL+V pastes. If that's what you were thinking of..."

....and it usually works fine when Right click - Copy - go to where you want to put it - Right click - Paste does not.

Of course, in both cases, you have to place the cursor at the beginning of what you want to copy and highlight it by holding down the left mouse button while moving the mouse to the end of what you want to copy, THEN you Ctrl+C (or Right click - Copy).

I happen to be a big fan of Mike Lin's "Clipomatic" freebie. I use it everyday for over 10 years. Currently using it on XP Pro at work.
