how to share one hard disk for two different PC??????
i have two computer but one hard disk and i want both the PC to use same hard disk plz help???????

Unless the two computers are identical in their hardware, your idea won't work.

Buy a new drive for the second computer. Drives are inexpensive.

But the old computer supports IDE hard disk which cannot be obtained from market easily.

You could share files between the two computers using a network drive.

OR you could just share s single folder and pop everything you need into it.

I wanted to do the same, but I couldnt for some reason. I think I ran into a bundle of premission issues even though I was admin.
It usually works, but it hates sharing the important windows files.

Just get a whole network drive, or share a folder of the drive.

If I understand what the OP wants to do they only want to have a hard drive installed into ONE of two computers and make both computers run off that one drive.

IDE type drives are still being made and are readily available. Theoretically you could do what you want but it isn't very practical.

since the launch of the sata hard drives the company has stopped manufacturing ide drives ??? i have tried many shops near me but still no decent ide harddisk
