sd card reader

Specs: Windows XP
My sd card slot won't read the sd cards anymore.It doesn't show the folder that i used to click on.I have a windows xp, Can someone tell me how to fix it.

Try the sd card on some other computer, does it work there?

you probably purchased a LARGER capacity SD card and the PC won't read it anymore, am i right?

no.my computer is able to handle a 2gb sd card.it read it perfectly fine for basicaly a year or more up until last week.

well, I would say you could try to update the drivers and if that doesn't work, just purchase a usb reader, much better in a long run and really inexpensive anymore.

Go to device manager and remove the SD Host Controller manager then reboot.
You will find a new device (SD Host Controller) and install all necessary files for that device
