Please note: This is the small menu that pops up when you right click on the Windows START BUTTON. I have seen many responses advising that you just click on Properties but believe me, that is not where it can be changed. Must be somewhere in the Registry so please, NO "click on properties" responses for this one!
@Johnw Your link take me to a google search and not the solution. I refer to the menu that pops up when you right click on the START BUTTON. Example: When I right Click on the START BUTTON I see an option "Groove Folder Synchronization". I Don't use that and need to remove it as I find it quite annoying. How do I remove just that entry from the "Right Click Start Button Menu"? Somehow many applications add their shortcuts to that tiny menu and I want to take it out!
I found some of the references in the Registry and managed to clear out most of the unwanted items but they are not all in the same place. Almost as if Windows are hiding them in obscured places. I think this warrants a thorough investigation as to how this works!
You just need to know how to ask the right question:

Much better, thanks! I think you guys have nailed it this time.
After I backed up the Registry I Searched for "ContextMenuHandlers" and got rid of the offending shortcuts. Will try to ask better questions next time :)
