Specs: Windows XP, P4 2,58 GHZ /2GB
Hello,
After changing my hardware, right clicking on empty space on desktop shows the following:
Arrange Icons By, Refresh, Paste, Paste Shortcut, Can't Find String, Can't Find String, Can't Find String, New, Properties
How can I find what was there and how can I change them? Using ShellExView?

Thanks

Hi,
I took a HD image from a P4 machine and restore it on a Core Duo machine. It's not a tragedy, I see it mostly as a way to experiment....

Thanks for your time

"I took a HD image from a P4 machine and restore it on a Core Duo machine"

That's your problem. The OS was configured for a completely different hardware setup. I'm surprised it would boot into Windows at all. Why didn't you just do a fresh install on the Core Duo system?

Undo Move, Save Desktop Icon Layout, Restore Desktop Icon Layout are here, YMMV of course.

You can't, those texts are part of the various dll files which will have their functions spread apart from each other and they all must match as to version, type, etc. SP3 be different batch of files with spread out functions across them from SP2 set. x86 different from 64bit too. End of the day, you can't get there from here even if you had a good reason to do that. And just goofing around isn't one.

TweakUI from 98 and layout.dll installed here for those entries above.
