Specs: Windows XP
How do you reboot the Northgate STAC2417C desktop computer to factory setting without a reboot disk, where do you get a reboot disk, and where do you get the owner's manual? If possible, for free. Thank you.

There might be a recovery partition hidden on the hard drive. You would access that by typing one of the F keys-I'm not sure which one.

I believe they used Aopen motherboards in that computer. If that helps.

model S651M
and use the drop down menu for the mobo manual and possible drivers and bios.

Now for restoration: Right click "My Computer" and select "Explore" > do you see any restoration partitions in there?
If you do then look under programs for any system utilities for restoration or reboot and watch the screens really close for a specific keyboard entry to use. If you cannot see one then experiment...reboot and try the various F keys to see if you can find a restore option.

If it came with an installation CD then you are going to have to search for them somewhere else and hope you can locate it.

Or you can learn how to build yourself a slipstream installation CD from the I386 folder stored in the operating system.
