I got a new iPhone recently after not having one for over 6 months. Unfortunately, when I had it sync up with my computer, I didn't realize it was pulling past information stored from the previous iPhone. I had cleaned up my bookmarks during that 6 month period, and not this new iPhone just added all of the bookmarks I had cleaned out back into my Explorer bookmarks. Any idea how to restore the bookmarks to a previous setting? Unfortunately, the last time I exported them was 2 years ago, so I don't have a clean copy that way. Thanks.
No way to do it other than sorting through them again. Always keep regular backups of everything, including bookmarks.
If you used Firefox you would be able to use "Xmarks" which keeps your bookmarks up to date all the time. I use it and my bokmarks on three computers are identical. Change one and all of them are brought up to date. Home Page http://ewen.uuuq.com/
