Solved repair old pc,re-loads Input signal out of range ?

Specs: w 8, 2.793 GHz / 503 MB
I have an old pc from MicroCadd that I want to repair. Here is what happens. when I turn on it loads to xp loading screen then suddenly it re-boots, then tried to load xp the second time and a message comes up saying "Input signal out of range" , what could be causing this ?

"Input signal out of range"

That means you have the screen resolution set too high, it's beyond what the monitor can handle. Reboot, tap the F8 key, then select Enable VGA Mode. That should get you into Windows, then you can correct the setting.
