I have an old pc from MicroCadd that I want to repair. Here is what happens. when I turn on it loads to xp loading screen then suddenly it re-boots, then tried to load xp the second time and a message comes up saying "Input signal out of range" , what could be causing this ?
That means you have the screen resolution set too high, it's beyond what the monitor can handle. Reboot, tap the F8 key, then select Enable VGA Mode. That should get you into Windows, then you can correct the setting.
