rename copied hard drive

Specs: Windows XP sp3, AMD3500+ 1G
Hard drive copied and replaced with different user name. Photos and music inaccessable. Need to rename folder so windows xp will find it. They are all still there. Just need to rename user and delete windows in clone copy.

Who renamed things? Sounds like you are trying to access files that are not yours to access.

No. Definately my hard drive. Person that repaired it just assumed that my name was the name on the username screen. Computewr working fine. I can recover fotos 1 by 1 if i do a search using file extention .jpg however, that will take me months. Same for music. Once again, DEFINATELY MY HARD DRIVE. Help rather than suspicion would be appreciated.

The fotos I am trying to recover top several thousand including the ones of my daughter who is only now 2 years old..
