|I have an XP 64 bit system trying to get the most out of it and realized that I would get better performance with 2 DIMMS running at DDR 400 instead of 3 DIMMS at DDR 200. However, when I remove the DIMM from the 3rd slot, I get this error on boot "missing or corrupt ntoskrnl.exe". No matter which DIMMS I use in 1 or 2. Replace the missing DIMM and put all in the same order and boot no problem. I've tried every combination and rebooting. Sometimes I get no video - but then replace DIMMS and all works as usual. I've looked everywhere for solution. |
Guys at Mushkin has no clue. Any suggestions? Please help.
