Go into Windows Task manager and look under processes. It is probably running as a service and the service needs to be closed. Close it there.

How about you telling us what is - better yet - who made driver fine? Is fine a name of a product? Are you using FinePrint software?

Hardware drivers are not programs. You don't remove them from add/remove programs. Programs don't have device drivers since that is what the hardware takes care of.

To remove a driver is a three part process. First you go into device manager and drill down into the device and what driver is listed. Note the file name.

Then you delete the device from Device manager
Then you physically remove the device/disable it
Then you go find the driver and delete it.

If this is a software program then you would use add/remove programs. If its not allowing for removal see if you can identify it as running in task manager/applications.

As a last resort come up in safe mode. Rename the programs folder
Coming up normally should make the program fail to load since it can't find its folder.
Then you should be able to remove it with add/remove programs.

I am guessing Driver Finder. There are many programs available under that category.
