hi. i roll through my local keys and find tings like Kaspersky Innovative. Mozilla plugins. Mozilla. Schlumberger and other keys with no value altho some sub-keys do.
What can I safely delete? Have already removed Google update once-it came back after the reboot.
I use OPERA now. Have also removed Kaspersky key and one or two others. how far can i safely go with these non value keys?
Thanks or any help

Based on your post, I would suggest you don't delete anything in the registry.

Deleting a few keys in the Registry is not going to make a significant change in the performance of the system.

Space is of very little importance but make a mistake, which is very easily done, and you will kill the system stone dead, perhaps needing a complete re-install.

Best leave the registry alone, it'a a minefield just waiting to trap the unwary.

Use the uninstall in the Add Remove Programs to do this. Never mess with the Registry unless you know what you are doing. If the uninstall did not remove every thing from the registry, look for a CleanUp program from the vendors site or follow their instructions on what keys to get rid of.
