recycle bin and recycler folder is corrupt

Specs: Windows XP, 3.014 GHz / 2047 MB
I have windows xp Pro and my recycle bin and recycler folder is corrupt. I have used cmd to delete recycler from each drive. When I restart windows the same recycler folder is there and its still is corrupt. Hwo can I get windows xo pro sp-3 to replace the folder with a running version. Here is cmd re /s /q C\recycler I do angain for D, E, and F..How can I get a new recycler bin and Recycler folder that works...without uninstalling windows xp Pro. thanks

I have the file. I click it and run and nothing happens..It just sits there..I guess I am not doing something right. I have the file on my desktop. I even moved it to my c drive. nothing. I went to safemode and nothing..Any other idea on how to get this little program to work...

Frank, Right click that reg file and choose "Merge" then if that is successful restart your computer.

That was a great tip, which they should put at the site, The site says hit run and hit ok... My Recycle bin is working...I used to work for AARP helping people with their taxes..If you ever have a tax problem you can wrtie me and I will try my best to help you...I want to thank you again,as I have tried for 2 weeks to fix this problem and you did...

New problem on the Recycle bin. After getting it to work again, the Recycle bin automaticly emplies iit self.. I don't know if it is a shutdown or startup..Any thing to stop the deleting of the files, until I do it.
