My business currently receives faxed orders via This is not reliable because the service does not always 'hear' when an incoming fax is coming in. I contacted customer service and they said I needed to tell my customers to hit their fax 'start' button twice...This is not an acceptable solution.

Is there a way that I can simultaneously 1) receive faxes on my regular epson all-in-one machine, so as to receive paper copies, and 2) receive them electronically on a PC or a web-based service? Basically I'm looking for redundancy so we don't miss fax transmissions.

fyi our office phone/internet is with the cable co.

Not exactly. You can't have a fax sent by two means unless the sender did it. If your system doesn't work then you need to fix that.

I doubt an all in one can do more than simply print. You'd need to step up to a business class copier. HP's and others have a hard drive inside and can be programed to send copies to ftp server and or both print and save locally.

Sorry your idea will not work. After all its all dependant on pushing a "button" on a web page right? That button would have to have two queues to send to; your fax and your pc.

There is nothing you can do at your end accept get a different service.
