I would think you buy replacement ink cartridges. The message you are getting is obvoiusly a warning!

I believe the shopping messages are a part of the software package that was originally installed with the drivers. You should be able to go to 'add or remove programs' in control panel and uninstall that or run MSCONFIG and click the startup tab. It should show there too. You can uncheck it and 'apply' and 'ok' to keep that from loading. Make sure it's the HP shopping that you remove or disable and not something important.

The shop HP messages are probably generated automatically due to the low ink level. But sometimes the ink level messages are in error if you use a non-HP or refilled cartridge.
