realtek RTL 8139 error message

Specs: Windows XP
downgraded vista to xp professional. now, internal wireless adapter realtek RTL 8139/810x family fast ethernet NIC has error message "network cable unpluged" and won't connect to internet. tried installing new driver, but get "install failed" error message HELP

First check if network card is installed. Start\Run type in
ncpa.cpl. See if the network card is shown.

If yes
Start\Run type in services.msc and make sure "wirless zero configuration" is active and running.

If no
Start\Run devmgmt.msc and see any hardware is with yellow exclamation mark. If so you have to fix it by intalling the right driver.

Check Device Manager, the Realtek is not the Wireless Card, you need the Wireless card drivers installed..
