Qwest highspeed internet has to be rebooted

Specs: Windows XP, 2.93 GHZ 760 MB Ram
My Qwest Internet keeps going off & I have to reboot it 4 or more times a day. What can cause this. I have lots of free space, i have cleaned up the system and nothing makes a difference.

It could be a fault in the phone line or a problem at Qwests end, ring them up and tell them to do a check.

I have done that & they said they couldn't find anything wrong on thier end. I have an older DSL Modem, but they said it was working fine & didn't need replaced, but I am beginning to doubt that. hanks for your help.

What is it that you have to reboot? The PC or the modem?
