I HAVE ONE EXE FILE WHICH OPEN ONLY IN FLOPPY DISK . HOW TO I OPEN THIS FILE IN HARDISK??

Create a new folder on your harddisk, ideally in the 'program files' folder, ensure that your system is set to 'show all files', then copy the contents of the floppy disk into the folder and run the executable from there. Create a shortcut on the desktop if you need regular access to it.

I have a accounts program dos base. It can operate via floppy disk when i open a file name accounts.exe it's create in a: directory some file like *.dbf and create porgram which can i copy from a: to my hardisk.

but now floppy drive is not available and when i will open this accounts.exe file msg shows like

not ready reading drive a
abort retry fail?

i like to change the path of accounts.exe in which it can operate from floppy. Is it possible for changes in exe file path

If it's just a matter of a path, you might be able to use the SUBST command to map a virtual A: drive. Problem is this will only work if your computer doesn't already have an A: drive.
