So I recently reinstalled Windows XP on my computer and for some reason whenever I try to print the error message "Print service spooler is not running." So I figured out to go to the command prompt and type "net start spooler" and that fixed that problem. My new problem is whenever I turn the computer off and on again the print service spooler stops running again leading me to do the whole command prompt thing again. My question is how do I keep the print service spooler running at all times? I really don't want to have to start it everytime I turn on the computer. Thanks!!!
Right click My Computer > Manage > Services and Applications > Services. Find the Print Spooler in the list. Right click it and select Properties. Set the start type to automatic (if it isn't) and click the Start button.
