png file.

Specs: Windows XP
i recovered my png file from my partitioned hardisk but i cant open the file the only thing that i see in the microsoft picture manager is a small x. can i able to see this picture again? can anyone help me? this picture is very important.

Try the imgeditor.zip download which is Free at the link below. Look at section Miscellaneous - Restore the image file associations to defaults. Select the appropriate file type for which you want to repair the association, and click Repair associations.

im sorry still nothing happens. heres what happened i took a video snapshot on skype. and saved it. and it was accidentally deleted. i think many months has past before i recovered the file. now im opening it it says its not supported. but the file has 374kb. so it means the file is there right? what alternatives i can do to view it again. it says no preview available...

It might have been corrupted during time it was available for overwriting. Try a Google search for "corrupted graphic files".
