That hard drive is way too small to install XP on. It won't fit. Neither will 2000.
It's even too small to install Win 98SE on, and have a decent amount of free space too.
It's also very old. It was probably made between circa 93 to 96.
Seagate bought out Maxtor, but they have no info on their site about the 7000A model series.
