Specs: Windows XP, 4gb RAM
I can log in with PCanywhere v12.5 to an XP computer with no problem several times. But then, for no apparent reason, the PcA Host no longer responds to log in until I re-boot computer.
At the same time, Remote Desktop does exactly the same thing, and the computer will have to be re-booted as well.

This is driving me crazy!

Go to Start / Control Panel / Network and Internet Connections / Network Connections.
Rightclick the Lan Area Connection and choose properties.
Click the button Configure and choose the tab Power Management.
Uncheck the Power Management option for the network card and give it a try.
