it may not be your computer it may just be your internet either there is a fault on the line or your having the problems when there are a lot of people on the internet.

Having a really fast computer wont make your internet faster than what is supplied.

I know it's not my internet cause i have a lap top that I'm running off the same internet and that's fine but my PC is slow and it's not that old. It just feels like something is running in the back ground that's slowing it down. Not sure how to check all that but i guess i have to live with it or take it to someone to look at it. Thanks anyways though.
P.S. When i do a disk clean up and i check my compressed old files and you click on the option to view how many days it should wait to access the file. how many days should that be on?? Mine was on 50 but i want to know if i should have that lower or higher?

Why are you compressing files? Is your hard drive getting full?

well i did a disk clean up like i would normally do every week or so and when i saw the file name, compress old files, the number seemed to big high so i when and clicked on it and it said something like hold it for 50 days. so i changed it to 1 day and the number went like 5 times amount it was before. so i put it back to 50 but it won't clean that up so not sure if i did something wrong there. and i was told to do a disk clean up every week. but on my laptop it cleans everything up but not on my PC.

You haven't answered either of my questions?

The most common reason to compress files is to conserve space on the hard drive. These are not temp files but your personal files or work product.

From My Computer, post the partition size and free space for each of your partitions.

Well I was told if your computer starts to run slow to clean it up so that's why i did the disk clean up cause i figured it would help get rid of some cookies and stuff some my computer might run faster. so I'm assuming it was making my hard drive full of crap. Does that answer your question???

I asked TWO questions and no you haven't answered either.

You had to choose to compress files. It doesn't happen by itself. Plus, you still haven't posted the total space and free space for you partitions for My Computer.

SORRY.
I was told when you do a disk clean up to check mark all the boxes in that window that opens. I was only asking about the compressed files cause the number beside is high and i thought it was suppose to clean that up. As for my computer info. well
It says, Used space is 11.7gb and free space is 25.4gb capacity is 37.2 gb is that what you needed to know?
I also did a disk defragment and it said i had 64% available

In that case there is no reason to compress your older files. There are disadvantages to doing that. Review which boxes are checked and correct.

Going back to your original issue of facebook games, you may have other items running in the background that are affecting that. Check your task manager on both computers to compare what you have running on each.

I know nothing about facebook games. Maybe someone else can supply better answers. It isn't your hard drive space though.

CCleaner is a good tool for cleaning away junk.

If you have more than one AV or Anti-Malware product running continuously in the background that can slow things down.

Otherwise you might have a few unnecessary programs running. If you type msconfig in the Run box, hit Enter key, and look at Startup, that will give some clues. Some programs don't really need to run all the time.

There might even be some running programs that can be fully uninstalled.

Please come back and let us know the outcome.

The speed that Facebook game run at could be affected by the amount of uses that are also using that application.

So you will have the game running fast when there is a low volume of traffic using the game and slower when it is high.
