PC restaring constantly can open safe mode

Specs: Windows XP, 2GB Ram (unknown CPU)
my PC wont stop restarting after i removed 3 virus' using Malware Bytes to ensure full removal i had to restart the PC, after i restarted it, it got stuck in a constant loop turns on, windows logo shows with loading bar, windows logo disappears black screen , power goes off and back on and it has restarted all over again, i can open 'DEL' and " F8 " during loading screen, but it wont open in safe mode when i hit open is safe mode screen goes black for a bit then restarts.. please im begging (im not a genius but im nifty on the PC so i can follow instructions =) )

****please note i dont know what XP version i am running***

reinstall your XP...format only c:...datafiles on d: will be save.

lose some-get some 50%50

2 things are great for causing windows to loop. 1. Viruses corrupting startup files 2. bad ram modules.

For the time it takes, I usually test the ram using memtest86 just to rule that out, then look for corruption if the ram modules seem good.
