PC keeps rebooting on startup (on Mup.sys)

Specs: Windows Vista
I used to know a bit about computers a few years ago but it's been a long time since I tinkered around with one.
My sisters computer broke and she got a new laptop, but she asked if I could get the baby photos off her PCs hard drive.
So I took her hard drive (and dvdrw) out of her old PC and set them as slaves and connected them into my PC with my HDD and DVDRW set as masters.

Now when I start up it just keeps rebooting after going into the
We apologise for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this.. yada yada.

Safe Mode (reboots)
Safemode with networking (reboots)
Safe mode with command prompt (gets as far as Mup.sys, holds for a few seconds then reboots)

I wasn't sure if this was because my sisters hard driver had windows on it also? even though it's set as a slave.

I'm kind of scared to take her HDD and dvdrw out just incase it still doesnt work and I'll be boned.

Please, any help would be massively appreciated!

Paul :)

But still. If anyone knows where I'm going wrong.. I'd love the help.

thanks again
