Outlook Express Won't Connect

Specs: Windows XP
Hello there.

I would like to take the opportunity this afternoon to say that i am currently having some trouble with Outlook Express.

Yesterday afternoon, i used Outlook Express to send an e-mail and didn't seem to have any problems at all.

This morning, i turned on the computer and clicked on Outlook Express to check to see if i had any new e-mails and it doesn't seem to be connecting.

It won't allow me to check or send any e-mails.

I have renewed my subscription with Anti Norton Virus, have run a quick scan, and have even restarted the computer but nothing seems to be working.

There are two separate functions to an email client program. Incoming (POP3) and Outgoing (SMTP).

Each works independently. Each protocol uses a different port (usually Pop3=port# 110 and Smtp=port #25).

Your ISP's website should have the information regarding the required configuration (esp. the server names).
