open jpeg from mac to windows

Specs: Windows 7
My cousin saved pictures in jpeg format on my thumb drive using her MacBook. I am trying to view them on my windows laptop. She lives far away and I don't have access to a mac right now. We did however already view them on another mac so I know they saved. what can I do t get them on my PC

You should be able to view them on your PC. .jpeg is a universal picture format not just viewable with a Mac. Plug the jump drive into your pc and click them to view them.

Can you see the files on the thumb drive? If so, drag and drop them into a folder on the PC and see if they work then.

There is a possibility that the thumb drive was formatted on the Mac as a startup device.

If I remember correctly, Macs don't put the 3 letter extension of files on the file name, Windows needs this to determine what program to use to open the file. Locate your jpg files in Windows Explorer, right click on them and select rename. After the name that shows up, put a .jpg on them. In other words if the file name was picture, rename it to picture.jpg
