Old version of quicktime won't uninstall

September 2, 2010 at 20:47:32
Specs: Windows XP, 2.6
I can't install itunes because an old version quicktime won't uninstall. Tried heaps of things of the net but no luck including all of Apple support recommendations. When I try to install quicktime it says it can't find the quicktime.MSI and when I point it to the msi . Ite says that it is and invalid msi file.

If you know how, you can manually remove all entries regarding quicktime. Have you ever edited a registry manually before?
