My computer
keeps popping up box message that shows "The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\0A44.DLL is not a valid Windows image. Please check this againts you installation diskette" every time I want to launch a program.Anyone knows what it means?
Dunno but on the safe side I should do some Anti-Malware and virus scans. MalwareBytes freebie is a good one to try. I note that someone on the net removed the file and said his machine then worked faster, see here:

If you right click the file and look in Properties it might tell you something - the date it arrived if nothing else.

It doesn't help, thanks for the tips though.
But the CCleaner fixed a few other problems, but it doesn't fix the main problem.
thanks.
Try doing repair install using the XP disc. I think it may fix your problem.
Thank you :)
What happens to the error message if you disable the file by renaming it to, say, 0A44X.DLL
