No disk found

Specs: Windows XP, CPU 2Gz RAM 4Gb
Hi all

I am using Xp pro 32 bit, with sata 320 GB HDD .having 2 parttion while repairing windows it shows error of
NO DISK FOUND, i can't able to repair windows, at the same time while reinstalling
it gives same error with blue screen.and computer reboot and shows following options
1 Windows xp professional
2 Windows xp setup continue........

i even tried to go through funtion key F8 , so i can able to access safe mode but no luck

pl help

It sounds like you are hitting a key a second time when the computer reboots after some of the installation has already completed. You only hit any key to boot from the CD to start the installation. When Windows reboot you just leave it go.

You may need to restart now, I'm not sure.

You didn't change any disk settings in the BIOS, did you?

No i didn't do any change in setting in bios. after selecting the second option that is
windows xp setup continue........
it gives error as disk not found , and if i select first option it goes xp boot screen and reboot automatically :(

Start over. You boot the computer with the WinXP CD in place. A message appears to hit any key to boot from the CD. You hit any key and start the Windows installation. At some point Windows reboots the computer. The hit any key to boot from the CD appears. You need to ignore that message and allow the computer to its own thing.
