no administrator account

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, 1.794 GHz / 254 MB
All of the accounts is limited and there's no computer administrator. How can I change this? and no password or i forgot it.

The administrator account can be accessed by doing a couple of control-alt-deletes at the welcome window. This will bring up the standard logon box. Type in administrator and either hit enter or guess what you may have set as a password.

Other options are google lost administrators password and see what comes up or do a new install.

i've tried remembering the password to no avail. If i have to reload windows, that means i have to uninstall old windows first, right? and not quite sure how to do that. and can i uninstall without administrator access?

You would install a new version of xp over the existing. No uninstall required.
