mysterious drive f

Specs: Windows 29.01.2010
Tried to load photos from my camera to the "My Pictures," folder in the "Documents" folder.

The photos were installed into my pictures in drive f. there is no drive f, presently

Recently loaded information into a removable drive that was recognized as drive f

need to remove drive f in order to load photos into My Pictures in the Documents folder.

jonthumb, on mine drive 'F' is a 2nd HDD (mine's a slave). Possible yours stored the pix on the removable and you need to copy them to 'C' with it installed first?

If your removable drive becomes drive "F:" when attached, then probably your camera does too as it will be seen as a disk drive also.

Is it possible you were seeing the pictures still on the camera ("F:" drive) and they never actually got copied to your "Documents" folder? If this is the case, then when you disconnect the camera, the "F:" drive will disappear along with your pictures...
