Don't use the welcome screen. Open the control panel & go to users & accounts, change the way users login. Get rid of the welcome screen. Make sure that you know all the passwords before you do it.

hi, yes I did now every time I have to type user account name and password to login as we have many user accounts.

I prefer welcome screen but unfortunately that problem still exists. My user account "administrator" goes in if I change the way user login to "welcome screen"

What does that answer have to do with addressing the question???

The behavior of the welcome screen as described is totally normal.

Administrator shows until you create your first user. You can still access it easily by doing a control-alt-delete a couple of times which brings up the logon box.

Otherwise you can set administrator to show on the welcome screen as follows

1.Open Registry Editor.

2.In Registry Editor, navigate to the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE'SOFTWARE'Microsoft'Windows NT'CurrentVersion'Winlogon'SpecialAccounts'UserList

3.Create the following entry:

Administrator: REG_DWORD

4.Assign a value of 1.

5.Close Registry Editor.
