Specs: Windows XP
When I type the letter 'u' I get the number '4', 'i' gives me '5' and 'o' gives me '6'. Any ideas? It's always been reliable and then just suddenly started doing this. I am using my husband's laptop to type this message. It would be great is someone could help me!

Look for a button on the laptop marked 'num lock' and press it once - that should return the keyboard to normal. The reason is that smaller laptop keyboards, without a numeric pad, use standard keys as a temporary number pad when needed, you probably just accidentally pressed it, or someone may have been messing with the BIOS to enable it by default at startup.
