How did you clean it out? Did you blow it out with compressed air or did you disassemble it?

If you took it apart to clean it, you probably didn't put it back together correctly. Most likely the CPU heatsink was reinstalled improperly.

If you used a vacuum, you most likely zapped it with static electricity.

Is it absolutely silent?

It's very easy to have dislodged a connector somewhere - check them for tightness.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

I used air duster. I only took the case apart and removed the dust with the little plastic straw that came with it. There was quite a bit of dust inside. Now all the fans blow and it won't boot up.

I'm back to the idea that something was disturbed so check connections as already said.

Another thing that can sometimes happen is an edge connecter is just minutely moved to a tarnished area. Take out the RAM stick (s) and clean the edge connectors with a pencil eraser then pop the sticks in and out a few times to ensure any oxide is removed from the socket too. Worthwhile doing the same on anything that has edge connectors, such as an addon graphics card, also power and signal connectors for the HD if they are SATA.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks
