RIGHT click on a blank part of the main desktop screen, choose Properties, then the Settings tab.

What does it say there? What Monitor on what video adapter ?

I will add some to what the others have written. After you right click your desktop
- properties - Settings Tab - move the slider bar to set your resolution to the size
you want. Click APPLY - You have 15 seconds to click YES or the size will
revert back to the way you had it before.

Click the Appearance Tab - and at the left bottom you can change your Font Size
and you can also change the color scheme.
I'm using Olive Green because I got tried of Default Blue. If changes are made
