my fujitsu siemens i tried to format xp its started but suddenly blank it powers up but no display and i cant open my cd rom fan working can u pls tell me hw to solve it?

Is the bios set to boot from CD 1st?

Are you, after putting the W7 install CD in, rebooting?

bios was set first hard disk the third option was cd ....so i press cd
