I'm running on XP with the Microsoft Office 2003 Suite. There is one individual that when she sends me Excel files (from a newer version) as an attachment through Outlook, my computer won't convert the files, thus not opening. They can't be saved, either. Sometimes I am able to open another Excel file and then it will open, other times I can close Outlook, then reopen and her file will open, but lately, there is nothing that I can do. Another individual has the same version of Excel and when he sends me files, my computer will open them. Outlook gives me this when I try to open: Can't create file: Book1.xlsx Right-click the folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the folder.
Please help!
