not any detail. it just won,t reboot. i have to shut it down then turn it back on to get on line

Go into event logs & get an exact error message.

Start > Run, copy & paste > eventvwr.msc /s & press Enter.
Scroll down to the last time your computer crashed and it should tell you what device/driver caused the problem?
