my computer keeps on rebooting to login i have a laptop pentum 4 operating system w.xp professional and the problem here is that i have been updating my avast free anti-virus and after i have shut down the magine i put it on later and it asked me for administrator password which was unusual and since it did not had one, i click on ok and the desktop back space appear for a secon and disappear again -- rebooting back to login asking me for administrator password and i click it did the same thing again i try save mood and it did thesame so i have given up can someone help please
I am having a hard time understanding your English but I believe you have spyware. There are 2 solutions that might fix this. 1. Restart in safe mode (hit F8 during windows startup) and if you can access the desktop then do a system restore or uninstall whatever program you think is causing the problem. 2. Reinstall windows. If you get anywhere in safe mode but get stuck, post what new info you find here.
