Specs: XP, ?
A seagate software update window appeared, I
updated... Afterwards all of my (USB) drives
disapeared. I found my I Drive, but it was given a
shortcut which has made it impossible to open.
I have no drives other than C: Drive!
Nothing connected to the USB ports work.
What can I do? Please help in human lingo.

I uninstalled the Seagate software from computer. I've turned
off my computer...even disconnected the power cord.
I've restarted my computer without the external drive
connected to it, still all it shows is C: Drive.
Everything else doesn't work...Printer, Iphone not recognized
etc... Not sure what happened.

Are you sure you initiated the restore? A requester will advice that the restore is about to commence and after it has done so the system will reboot and you will be advised that the Restore was successful. If none of this has happened then you have not restored your system

Back up ---- this is sounding more like you may need to repair, or even reloading Windows

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
If all else fails, read instructions.

I did. It went through all the steps, collected data... went thru
the steps & shut down. It restarted and I checked My
Computer folder and still no other drives, other than my C:
Drive appeared.
Do I need to create Drives? If so how would I go about doing
that?
I read up on it... I went to disk management but I don't show
Drives other than C:
How can I create an I: and so on?
I havn't moved anything cause I fear worsening the
problem...though, I feel capable enough to try fixing it.
I greatly appreciate any and all help I can get.
